Double Acorn Straight Stairlifts to Create a Curved Stairlift

Carelift Services recently had a customer who was on a tight budget and could not afford the cost of a curved stairlift, even a reconditioned one. We assessed the stair case in the customer home and found that a solution could be provided, we could install two reconditioned acorn stairlifts with the landing between the floors. The customer was still mobile, and could handle the transition the change in chair.
This type of stairlift layout can only be installed on certain staircases and the user must be able to navigate the landing and getting on and off the extra times.
At the start of the process our stairlift engineers discussed with the home owner all options and the best solution was agreed upon.
The Acorn straight stairlift comes with a automatic foldup seat, footrest, armrests and is easy to dismount at both top and bottom of the stairs, it is one of the most popular reconditioned stairlifts on the market and in this project we were able to offer two in replacement of a curved stairlift.
