With its smooth aluminium track, the HomeGlide straight stairlift can be fitted on practically any straight staircase. The generous cushioning gives a strong and comfy seat with plenty of support. The warm grey shade of the upholstery is a modern neutral tone that will mix comfortably with any decor. Additionally, the upholstery is fire retardant, liquid repellent, and simple to clean and comes with a simple joystick and needs no effort to use.

Designed for effortless simplicity with superior comfort and value, the Thyssen HomeGlide is fitted onto your staircase and not your wall. This allows the lift to be installed quickly, efficiently and with minimal disruption to your home. The integrated sensor ensures the seatbelt is fastened securely before travel, and the stainless steel buckle is designed to be operated with just one hand.

Enhanced Capacity

The HomeGlide stairlift range, designed with current manufacturing techniques and technology, can be installed on practically any straight staircase as narrow as 740mm (29") and has a maximum weight capability of 160kg (25st).

Safety and Control

We prioritise your safety, and when you choose the HomeGlide stairlift, you are selecting a model that is certified to machine directive 2006/42/EC, EN 81- 40:2020, and UKCA requirements. The Keylock also allows you to safely isolate the lift to specific people.

Compact and Discreet

The HomeGlide may park at either the top or bottom of the stairs, depending on your needs. When not in use, the HomeGlide can be stored and folded down to 385mm (15") on any landing, out of the way of other staircase users, allowing the stairlift to sit discreetly within the home.

HomeGlide Stairlift Optional Extras

Linked Footrest: This feature makes it almost effortless when unfolding the chair as the footrest is connected to the seat – eliminating the need to bend.

Powered Rail: The automatically powered hinge will return to the top of the stairs, and the lower section of the rail will fold away, leaving the bottom of your staircase clear.

Powered swivel seat: The powered swivel feature automatically turns the chair at the top landing as you maintain pressure on the joystick.

Ergonomic seat: Designed to positively influence your posture while offering maximum comfort during travel, choose from four different seat heights.

Call Device: Our optional call device allows storage of up to three different telephone numbers stored and contactable directly from your stairlift.

Outdoor Version: The HomeGlide Outdoor benefits from high levels of weather protection including coated mainboard, rubber drive cover, protected rack & pinion, and a canvas cover for use when the stairlift is parked.
